Meet our Team
Manual Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a comprehensive evaluation of the mobility of organs, joints, cranial bones and soft tissue. When things move as they should, they function as they should.
Assessing mobility within the body through Visceral Manipulation, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy and Joint mobility allows normal patterns to return. The goal of a Manual Osteopath is to restore normal mobility of these areas and therefore normal function allowing for decreased pain and dysfunction.
Manual Osteopathy is covered by most Extended Health Care Plans.
**Please review your Insurance plan to check for coverage as not all insurance plans accept all Osteopathic Associations. Call the clinic for more specific information on the therapists associations**
Physiotherapy
Our Manual based Physiotherapist uses The Integrated Systems Model (ISM) approach that provides an understanding of how all past injuries, poor posture and movement habits are linked and have contributed to the current state of health, or lack thereof.
The ISM approach evolved over physiotherapist Diane Lee’s 40 years of clinical practice, research, and collaboration with many leading health care professionals in their fields. This model allows clinicians to be more effective and efficient with their assessment and treatment in order to help patients develop better movement strategies and habits to help reduce symptoms and improve function and performance.
